Dr. Keifer Sullivan
A victim itself of nightmares, Dr. Sullivan is the only freelance doctor and scientist that studies and believes in monsters like Slashers, Bogymen, Night Terrors, Dimensional Horrors and the like. He have become very obsessed with his work and insists in accompanying the characters in any adventure that could give him evidence of his theories. He’ll settle for at least, any evidence recovered and a narrative of the encounter. As a psychiatric eminence he can also help in post traumatic experiences related to encounters with such critters, but remember that he is a little disturbed himself for all the experiences with the supernatural and the scientific community doesn’t trust his theories.
May, 2000. About 50 or more kids from all around Eerie suffer from sleeping disorders. The Hospital Administrator called for an expert in Night Terrors, Doctor Kieffer from New York.
A night terror, also known as a sleep terror or pavor nocturnus, is a parasomnia disorder characterized by extreme terror and a temporary inability to regain full consciousness. The subject wakes abruptly from slow-wave sleep, with waking usually accompanied by gasping, moaning, or screaming while waking. It is often impossible to awaken the person fully because they are so concentrated on waking, and after the episode the subject normally settles back to sleep without waking. A night terror can rarely be recalled by the subject. They typically occur during non-rapid eye movement sleep.
In August 2005, the last fragment of the Tyrant’s body is destroyed by the Dream Warriors with the help of Doctor Keifer he’s mentioned on The Hospital Sector). The Tyrant was hiding in Dean Zetland’s body since the battle against the Tyrant in the year 2000. Dean Zetlands awakes from his coma.
Dr. Kiefer wrote the following essays (which need an update, by the way):
Shonda trata de comunicarse con el Doctor Keifer
— Hey Doc, hay posibilidad de que alguien encuentre una forma de como entrar al dreamscape?
Dr. Kiefer- That’s a very good question, Miss Matters, let me put this way:
Using autohypnosis and subliminal suggestions a mind can be sent in the path of the Dreamscape with a high change of entering the dream zone of Eeriescape in an “awake” status. There is a change, a probability, not a certainty. The mind is a vast and powerful machine and hard science don’t know enough to discover the existence of the Dreamscape, imaging theoretical science like myself that is not recognize by the scientific community. I think that the experiments done between the 1950’s and the 1970’s with drugs and hyper sensibility could do the same trick as they are drugs that enhance the perception and increase the connection between the conscious and unconscious mind.
SECRET: Dr. Kieffer is an expert in night terrors and dimensional horrors. He studies this creatures and teorizes about their planes of existance.
